Deep Fried Breaded Cuttlefish Balls



  • 1 packet of Seawaves Cuttlefish balls, thawed

    Breaded Cuttlefish Ball

  • 1 cup of plain bread crumb
  • 1 cup of All Purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 4 large eggs 
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • Oil for deep frying


  1. Combine the All Purpose flour, salt and garlic power in a tray, mix well and set aside. Combine eggs and milk in a medium bowl, beat well and set aside. Pour plain bread crumb in a medium plate or tray, set aside.
  2. Dip cuttlefish ball into egg mixture and remove. Then coat well with the flour mixture. Shake off the excess flour from cuttlefish ball and dip back into egg mixture. Remove the cuttlefish ball as cleanly and quickly as you can before tossing it into the bread crumb. Coat cuttlefish ball completely with bread crumb, set aside. Repeat the same procedure until finish.
  3. Preheat the oil until the temperature reaches 365 F, and add the breaded cuttlefish ball to fry until golden brown.
  4. Remove and place on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil before serve warm as appetizer or snack.
