Thai Sweet and Sour Abalone


  • 1/4 of a whole cabbage
  • 1 can of Seawaves Mexico Baby abalone
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon plum sauce
  • 1 key lime


  1. Slice the cabbage very thinly. Place the sliced cabbage in the middle of a large serving plate.
  2. Open the abalone cans. Slice the abalones thinly and arrange it around serving plate.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the chili sauce, plum sauce and juice of the key lime. Taste and see if it needs more chili sauce, plum sauce or lime juice.
  4. Drizzle the sauce all over the abalone slices. Refrigerate for at least an hour, up to 3 hours. Serve chilled.
