  STUFFED YOU TIAO WITH SEAWAVES CUTTLEFISH PASTE

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS

   
  1 packet of Seawaves Cuttlefish Paste (500g)
5 long you tiao, in pairs Oil for deep frying
   
       
  METHODS    
 

1. Separate the you tiao pairs. Snip open the you tiao lengthwise, but do not completely cut open. Leave both the ends about 3cm still attached.  Repeat for all the you tiaos

2. Stuff Seawaves Cuttlefish Paste into the snipped you tiao. (At this step, you may opt to freeze the stuffed you tiao and store them in the freezer to deep fry when needed.)

3. Heat the oil to about 180 degrees.

  4. Gently lower the stuffed you tiao into the oil, with the paste side facing down 

5 .Deep fry for 5 – 8 minutes, until the paste surface turns light golden brown.

6. Turn the you tiao and fry the other side for another 2 minutes.

7. Drain on paper towels and cut the stuffed you tiao into bite sized wedges. Serve warm.
