Korean Vegetarian Dumpling (Chinese Chive) 韭菜韩国素饺子
A healthier choice of Korean Dumplings with 'meat' made up of soya bean and selected vegetable.
Keep frozen at -18°C. Once thawed do not refreeze.
PAN FRY:
Fry defrosted dumplings on pre-heated frying pan for 3 - 4 minutes until golden brown. Put 2 tablespoons of water around dumplings, cover the pan and cook for 1 minute. Serve with vinegar and shredded ginger.
STEAM:
Remove dumplings from freezer. Arrange them on a heat proof dish and steam over rapidly boiling water for 5 - 8 minutes. Serve with vinegar and shredded ginger.
DEEP FRY:
Deep fry in preheated oil at a temperature of 180°C until golden brown.
MICROWAVE:
Place dumplings in a heat-proof dish, sprinkle some water and mircrowave for 5 minutes.
IN SOUP:
Steam dumplings for 5 minutes. Boil meat and vegetable soup and add steamed dumplings into soup and boil for 1 minute.
